INFO: The vineyards here are centuries old and have been cultivated since the Roman times. They are located on the scarily steep terraces overlooking the Sil and Mino rivers with an incline of up to 70% which necessitates hand picking. This is pure, unoaked, unadulterated Mencia – a grape that has grown rapidly in popularity here in the UK in recent years. The wines are unoaked to allow the fresh characteristics of the grape to shine. Light, fragrant, and medium-bodied red wines with floral, red-berry, and mineral notes. A wine that pairs well with salmon, river fish and light meat dishes.
