INFO: Perelada are one of the most prestigious and highly regarded wine and cava producers from Catalonia. This family-owned Estate was built upon a winemaking tradition that stretches back to the Middle Ages, they produce wines in DO Empordà, as well as crafting Cavas in Vilafranca del Penedés.
The grapes are sorted manually in the vineyard then de-stemmed, gently crushed and pressed using a pneumatic press. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts for 15-20 days at 15-16°C. The secondary fermentation occurs in bottle following the traditional method. The wine matures on its lees for 9 months with riddling by machine before disgorgement.
Delicate pink in colour. The aroma is clean, floral and fruity, long lasting and elegant. Complex on the palate with a refreshing finish
