INFO: Tanagra Colombard is different – it comes from older vines, pruned specifically to further reduce the yield and vinified as serious & elegant food wine – dry, slightly wooded, with intense fruit. It is perfect to enjoy now or in the next 2 – 3 years.
Wild yeast fermented and for 6 months on the lees. Wood matured for just 1 month in an older, third filled (neutral) vessel before bottling.
A dry Colombard with layers of fruit (tropical fruit & guava), rounded off by ever so slight wooding, resulting in a complex and rounded wine. The balance between the soft, delicate fruit aromas and taste and the creaminess that is felt in the wine is excellent.
Tropical fruit, creamy, full wine with good acidity
