INFO: Hubert Brochard have been crafting terroir driven Sancerre in the Chavignol region since 1900. This subtly nuanced, fruity cuvée draws its vivacity from the clay-limestone soils of Chavignol, Ménétréol and Amigny. Maceration lasts between 25 and 28 days, with minimal pumping over. The next stage – ageing, again in stainless steel vats – lasts for seven to eight months as they patiently refine each facet of the wine’s parcels.
Delicate aromas of red fruits, rounded tannins and good acidity have made this an excellent vintage
