INFO:
Think Abruzzo, and the standard grape that usually comes to mind is Montepulciano - that ever-present staple of fruity wines on the Italian restaurant’s wine list. But, as with much of the rest of Italy, the region has so many more indigenous grapes that we would be remiss not to try and stock a few of the more interesting ones. Orsogna were selected as winery of the year in the Vinitaly fair, and despite their relatively large production, each wine shows a huge amount of character and care.

7 WORD WINE REVIEW:

Vibrant, saline, slightly spicy - really flavoursome wine.
