INFO: San Marzano pays homage to the ancient Apulian wine traditions, while using contemporary techniques to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The vineyard is located in Salento, Puglia at approximately 100 metres above sea level. San Marzano has honoured one of its trusted and long-standing winegrowers by naming this wine after him: Talò. This Primitivo di Manduria was matured in French and American oak barrels for six months, resulting in a rich and opulent wine with flavours of ripe cherries, plums and subtle overtones of cocoa and vanilla. Velvety and textured with a warm finish, this packs a punch of flavour.
