INFO: The Roussanne is grown on the south eastern side of the Paardeberg. The wine was then fermented at Koopmanskloof in Stellenbosch in 500 litre French oak barrels, about 50% of the vine has been fermented in brand new super tight grain barrels and the balance in neutral oak. A tight elegant wine with waxy stone fruit and soft spicy vanilla aromas. The wine has a lovely texture with a long finish and fresh acidity, keeping it vivacious and vibrant.
The winemakers are actively engaged in local conservation projects and a contribution from every bottle sold goes to the conservation of African Painted Wolves.
