INFO: This wine is a blend of 40% Malbec, 35% Bonarda, and 25% Ancellotta to produce a deep inky purple coloured wine in the glass.
An attractive scent of spicy plum fruit and red berries with vanilla notes on the nose which leads to a well structured dense savoury palate. Lots of ripe red berry, cherry and plum fruit flavours here along with well integrated oak.
The wine undergoes temperature controlled fermentation in concrete vats, with full malolatic taking place with indigenous yeasts. The wine then udergoes ageing for 2 months in concrete, then 3 months in american oak and finally 6 months in bottle before release.
