Light, delicate and aromatic reds
We are in love with this versatile collection of food-friendly reds. Perfect for anything from BBQ to game to even fish, they shine because they have good acidity, light tannins and alcohol and wonderful, floral and bright aromas.
We have a real smorgasbord of Pinots in this case - 3 from 3 different countries (and not a single one from the "main" Pinot countries - that's not where value is found), and a lovely, very unusual Gamay (the Beaujolais grape) from the Italian Alps. All four offer something unique, different and unusual.
- One bottle of Santa Macarena Pinot Noir - beautiful, fruity Chilean Pinot
- One bottle of La Crotta di Vegneron Gamay - Beaujolais from Italy? Sure!
- One bottle of Serbal Pinot Noir - puts a lot of Burgundy to shame
- One bottle of Dautel Spatburgunder - wonderfully earthy, bright German Pinot
